Mayor Johnson showed a high order of speed for five furlongs, but was tiring at the end. Dave Sommers was bumped and crossed by Sailor Cadmus, but ran a good race and finished fast and was gaining at the end. San Lution came fast in the stretch and went to his best form. Sailor Cadmus had no mishaps. Lynch was badly ridden. Crisscross showed speed but tired. Loca was given a very easy race Scratched 35858 Ogla, 110; 35890 Herodes, 105; 34950 Lena A., 100.
