Hurstbourne outclassed his field, vent after the pacemaker, which set a very fast pace, and was under pressure to get up, which he did a furloDg out, coming away with ease. Colonnade beat the gate and made most of his advantage, but was tiring rapidly in the last furlong and swerving out. He is a very fast colt. Stamping Grou d, away badly and forced to race around the field on the turns, closed up with a rash at the end. Ancke ran fast and gamely and is a good filly over a distance. Gold Money ran a dull race and is not in good form. Chicle and Colonsay were both going well in the stretch. Scratched 3f927dt. Daniel, 113; 35983Nevermore.lll; 319832W. R. Allan waited on Andy WilliamB to the last quarter, where he ranged alongside the overconfident Lyne and finally beat him oat in the last stride and ran a game race. Glen Water, easily bst, was lucky and had clear sailing and finished strongly on his own courage. Flying Jib, wh-ch br ike slowly and had a rough trip, ran a very game race and all but got up under Redferna superb fluish. Hormencia ran well, but failed to stay in the hard, final furlong drive. Circus, a good c ilt, requires a vigorous and skillful jockey to get the best results, and really had no chance with T Meado, who could not hold him together. Ho was badvy messed "about at the end.
