Among the horses entered were Savable, High Chancellor, Wyeth, Runnels, Von Rouse and the best of the two-year-olds. Word comes from Lexington, Ky., that Fred Cook, of St. Louis, has refused a 0,000 offer made by Gorman and Bauer, of Cincinnati, for his throe-year-old chestnut gelding, Linguist, by Linden-Ella H.
