Troxler. who had ridden this horse to defeat j in several races lately, was suspended by the stewards after todays showing. Mexicana finished fast 1 and outstayed Laura F. M. in the final drive. The latter forced a fast pace and failed to stay. Modicum was away poorly and ran in the deep going. Rag Tag ran badly. Scratched 357E8Solon, 1C4 ; Correctod weights Laura F. M.. 91. Diderot beat th barrier and indulged Mr. Dingle with the lead for the first half, thon drew to the front and camo away in the stretch without much urging. Dunblane, away badly, closed- up a big gap and was an easy second. Urchin ran a consistently good race after losing ground at the start, fieana was always outrun and is evidently out of form. Mr. Dingle showed early speed, but failed to stay. Mr. Farnum ran a bad race and lacked his recent speed. Correctod weights Mr. Farnum, 82. Overweights Beana, 3 rounds. Diderot, show, 1 to 4. The latter was closing up fast rirnt at tho erd and ran the best race of her career. Gravina ran a good race at the weights, but was at disadvantage in forcing the pace for tho first seven furlongs and tired in the stretch run. Mi Reina failed to stay in the going and was evidently outclassed. Dainty was unable to stride freely in the stiff going and was never prominent. Gorgaleto wants a fst track and was outclassed. Tho Frotter, lucky and skillfully ridden, -was bumped into when a sixteenth out, but was beaten at the time.
