The backer of the horse that ran second, won, subject to a reduction of odds. S. C. Hildreth has sold Chickadee backtto James Ownbey. Hildreth took tho mare out of a soiling race from Ownbey a few days ago. C. D. Randolph has declined an offer for UcChesneys dam Manola Mason, by TopIGallant Katherine H,, which will be bred by him to Lamplighter this season. The colors of Sydney Paget, whowill have a 1 racing stable of his own this season, although 1 identified with J. B. Haggin, will be "orange, white . braid and cap."
