T. Wilson, Jr., Whitney and Duryea, P. J. Dwyer, P. H. McCarren, F. R. Hitchcock and J. E. Madden, and all of whom jrace here from year to year in preference to other parts of the land. Mr. Belmont has entered his promising Hastings colt, Lord of the Yale, which ran second to Savable in the Futurity and defeated Sergeant in the Consolation Stakes at Benninus last fall. Mr. Wilson, who tried to win the Derby year beforo last with Tho Parader, has entered the Mirthful colt Mexican, which won the Produce Stakes and other rich stakes last year in the colors of C. H. "F.R.Hitchcock has nominated his fleotfooted gelding. Grey Friar, which took the measure of Acofull in the Matron Stakes at Morris Park last fall and also won the Albany Handicap at Saratoga, performances which, with others, convinced many turfmen that tho son of St. George Una B. was pretty nearly the best two-year-old of the season.
