WORTH JOCKEY CLUB STAKES. With the Washington Park, Harlem and Hawthorne Stakes all closed and their entries published, local interest, will now attach to the good list of stakes prepared by Secretary Ed Jasper for the Worth spring meeting. They close for entries next Tuesday and should attract entry lists in line with the remarkable showing of the other three local clubs. The eight stakes offered are all well endowed with added money and provide for all ages of horses. Their terms are fully set forth in the advertising department of this issue and owners and trainers are asked to consider them carefully and patronize them generously. The list is as follows: For Three-Year-Olds and Upward. The Worth Handicap, ,000 added, 1 1-16 miles. The Powers Handicap, ,000 added, 1 1-8 miles. The Orland Stakes, selling, ,000 added, 1 mile. The Flying Handicap, ,000 added, 3-4 mile. For Three-Year-Olds. The Calumet Stakes, ,500 added, 1 1-16 miles. For Two-Year-Olds. The Evergreen Stakes, ,500 added, 5-8 mile. The Admiral Stakes, colts and geldings, ,000 added, 5-8 mile. The May Blossom Stakes, fillies, ,000 added, 4 1-2 furlongs.
