Won driving; second easily Mollie T. displayed the most early speed and favored by the going opened up a winning gap in the first furlong, but tired in the stretch and was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Musical Slipper. The latter began slowly, but closed up a big gap and finished fast. Katie Gibbons was crowded back at the start and ran a winning race. Bairn of Gilead was as good as left. He had an outside position at the start, broke wrell in motion, and opened up a winning gap before the others got to going and was eased up in the last quarter. Fair Lass was ridden all over the track. She was on the inside at the far turn, but was taken very wide into the homestretch. Brooks-Ion tired, but came again at the end and outgamed Kiwasa when it came to a hard drive and got third place in the last stride. Kiwasa ran well to the stretch. Arnigari, well ridden and lucky in escaping early interference, wore the leaders down while rounding the far turn and outgamed St. Tammany when, it came to the final drive. The latter was as good as left and closed up a big gap, but the effort told on him at the end. Arnigari had crowded him to the outside rail in the last hundred yards. Josette was on the extreme outside all the way and ran fairly well. Scorpio had the outside position at the start and displayed early speed, but was used up in racing If You Dare and Bummer to defeat in the first half. They all tired in the stretch run.
