NOTES OF THE TURF. H. C. C, Chicago. The place price on the Walden entry Petunia and Transmigration coupled in the fourth race March 4, was 4 to 5. Rosanco, Robertson up, worked a very nice mile for the Derby after the races at New Orleans last Thursday. He had weight up, went to the seven furlongs in 1:40 and finished out the mile in 1:54. This was good work for the deep track. Satin Coat has been fired at New Orleans. Fuller is riding in rare form at the Crescent City, rarely a day passing that he does not win two or more mounts.
