LATONIA DERBY AND OAKS. Up to Sunday twenty-three declarations had been made from the Latonia Derby and thirty from the Latonia Oaks. This small declaration list from the Derby emphasizes the present uncertain three-year-old outlook and points to probable big fields of starters for most of the western events for horses of that age. "With over seventy horses still eligible and no three-year-old as yet standing out prominently there is a good chance that the Latonia Derby will be fought out by the largest field that has gone to the post for it in recent years. The Derby arid Oaks eligibles are as follows: The Latonia Derby For three-year-olds foals of 1900 at 00 each, 0 forfeit, 5 if declared on or before August 1, 1902, 0 if declared on or before April 1, 1903 money to accompany declarations or they will not be accepted; ,500 added, of which 00 to the second and 00 to the third.
