GOSSIP OF THE TURF. Mr. J. F. Schorr, the Memphis turfman, has arrived at Louisville from the Pacific Coast, bringing with him Gold Bell and Esh-erin, two of his thoroughbreds eligible to enter in the Kentucky Derby. He also brought Joe Frey and Slap Dash, a jumper. Mr. W. H. White, also reached Louisville with Dagmar, another well known jumper. Clerk of the Course Crickmore is determined to give the Bennings patrons the full value of their money. He has announced that there will be seven races on the program next Monday, including an extra race at a mile and a malf over hurdles, and the Easter Monday Steeplechase at two and a half miles.
