Won easily; second driving. Stirling Towers got away running, led throughout and ran to her best form. Yo No Se closed an early gap and held on well at the end. George Dewey was interfered with at the start and made up much ground in the last half. Roltaire and Hutch Miller ran in improved form. Alaria was repeatedly crowded and pulling up in the first half, was certainly best and closing up fast in the stretch, but pocketed right at the end. The latter is steadily improving in stamina, forced good stiff pace throughout and was only downed in the last stride I. O. U. did his best and is in good form. Tulare is improving. Autolight, away in the lead, was taken back and indulged the pacemaker to the stretch, where he galloped past her with great ease. Position, interfered with on the first turn, made a brilliant stretch run after trailing for half the journey. Antolee made the running at a fast pace for six furlongs and failed to stay. Bard Burns beat the gate and set a slow pace, the field waiting behind him. He gained a winning lead at the half and just lasted out the journey, scoring a fluke victory. Divina, nearly left, came with a belated rush at the end and was much the best. Bill Massie ran in improved form and finished going fast. Forest King received a bad start and was badly handled.
