He was inclined to swerve slightly in the closing strides. Chicago Girl ran to her best form. She faltered palpably when the pinch came Dr. Moody ran well for five furlongs". Springstead finished strongly after making up grounc fast in the last quarter, when running next to the inside rail. He runs to his best form a fast track only.
