Won driving; second the sam Aratoma ran the best race he has shown in some time. Helgesen saved ground with hiH all the way and outrode Treanor and Booker when it came to a drive. The Stewardess huiH On gamely under punishment, was off well and had no mishaps. Angelsea showed surpri ing speed, but was driving to the limit to stall off St. Wood at the end. Morning Star showe improved form and ran a good race, but repeatedly bumped Bird Pond in the stretch rur Dr. Loder was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Oleometer. Favonius ran a fine race and finished fast under a drive. WhitH King ran a fast half, but tired in the stretch run and swerved into the fence at the f urH post. Molinos was used too much in chasing J. P. Mayberry and he tirec when it came to a drive, but hung on gamely. Flo Bob showed decided improvement and in the final drive outgamed J. P. Mayberry. The latter showed the most early speed, but qui when the pinch came and may be overrated. Dick Bernard could not concede the weigl and quit when he could not get to the front.
