Won easily; second driving. , Langford James was a good horse today, outrun his field from the first stride and was eased • up at the end. Don OHigh fell out of the race during the first part for some inexplicable reason- and came again at the end with a tremendous rush and beat Gus I-Ieidorn for second : place in the last stride. Gus Heidorn was doing his best throughout. Rowland M. ran a good race and finished gamely No show betting on first three. SECOND RACE— 1 1-16 Miles. Socapa was favored by the accident which befell Fridolin, but at that showed speed throughout, ran to his best form and finished gamely. First One was forced to pull up when the horses fell, came around the field and ran into the lead, but tired in the final furlong. For the same reason Dr. Hart had to pull up, then made up much ground and ran a good race. Hallucination showed improvement. Crutchfield ran fairly well. Varner can do better. Ben Lear showed speed, but tired from racing closely with Chappaqua. Glendon was rushed to the front at the start, but could not stand the pace and quit badly. Kiss Quick was cut off at the start. Kenova showed improvement today and her race was the best sho has run here this spring. Dubious ran i well, finished gamely and was well ridden. Prince Richard ran his race.
