Orloff finished fast and won through Burns vigorous finish, only getting up in the last two strides after having come around the other horses on the turn. Star and Garter is consistent and his race was a good one. North Brook was weakly handled and should have won. Explorer is rounding to and finished going fast. Blue Jay tired at the end, but will do soon in maiden company. Neither One quit badly after making the pace to the stretch. Silurian got off poorly. Ascension finished gamely under the whip after having been interfered with on the turns. Lady Lake weakened under pressure at the end. Bobbinet displayed early speed and then quit badly.
