Won easily; second the same The track and distance just suited Senor. He showed much the most speed all the way and was never in trouble. Aratoma ran well and was easily the best of the others. Dean was overconfident on him and took matters too easy until in the final furlong. Dr. Moody was tiring at the end. Emma C. Handmore ran away from his field while rounding the far turn and was under restraint in the last furlong. Miller had Miss Fleischmann under restraint for the first quarter, came wide at the turn into the homestretch and carried Bayview out. The latter outgamed The World when it came to the final drive. Coreen looked big when going to the post and is evidently not ready. She was eased up in the last quarter. Scratched— 396113St. Juvenal, 112. Star Gazer raced Miss Guido to defeat in the first half, went to the front while rounding the far turn and came away without much effort at the end. Annu saved ground at the turn into the homestretch, but tired when it came to a drive and was doing her best at the .end to stall off Nellie Forest. The latter got away tangled up and closed a big gap and finished fast. Miss Guido tired. Maghoni labored all the way and seemed unable to extend her- self. Walsh laid in behind Silk Cord for the first half, we*nt to the front when ready and opened up a winning lead while rounding the far turn and the horse was well in hand all of the last furlong. Bank Street came wide at the turn in the homestretch and outgamed Soothsayer when it came to the final drive. The latter was crowded back at the first turn, but made up a lot of ground and then tired. Leflare was eased up at the end. Silk Cord was under a pull in the first half, but OConnor let go his head when Joe Lesser passed him. Amigari was standing sideways when the barrier went up. Scratched— 397813Fonsoluca, 105.
