RACELAND AND HARTLAND SALES. The yearlings from Catesby Woodfords Raceland Stud and the Hartland Stud of J. N. Camden, Jr., were disposed of at auction at the Sheepshead Bay paddocks Tuesday, June 23. Thirty-eight youngsters went for ,2G5, an average of ,G48. At the Sheepshead Bay paddocks of the Fasig-Tipton Company Thursday, June 25, the yearlings from Mrs. Thomas J. Carsons Dixiana Farm, together with others, the property of various owners, were disposed of at auction. Twenty-five youngsters were sold for 4,175, an average of 67. The star of the sale was a full sister to Eugenia Burch. The filly is by Ben Strome— Tho Humber, and was secured by S. J. Lawlor for ,600. Joseph E. Widener paid ,000 for a half brother to Hunter Raine. He Is a son of Ben Strome— Chartreuse. A colt by Fav-erdale— Henrietta went to H. M. Ziegler for ,600.
