Wreath of Ivy was carefully placed, saved ground when the field swung wide on the turn, swerved when Sararose cut across the rear horses in the last sixteenth, but won eased up. Bush Smith ran a good race. Sararose was closing up very fast on the outside when Watson let her swerve across the track to the rail, then out again. This threw the field back of the leaders into confusion and spoiled the form. Mattie R. ran out. Anna Hardy showed speed to the stretch. s Overweights — Mattie R., 2 pounds. Wreath of Ivy, show, out.
