WESTERN JOCKEY CLUB ACTION. An adjourned, meeting of the Board of Stewards was held on Tuesday, July 7. The following applications for licenses were granted: Trainers— W. T. Anderson, F. M. The following applications for licenses were denied: Trainers— I. B. Fitzgerald, N. B. Davis. Jockeys— W. Fitzmaurice, C. Buxton. Apprentices— Garrett Roach. The following licenses were revoked: Trainers— R. Broomall, J. Maloney. Jockeys— James Foley. In the matter of controversy for the services of jockey C. Bonner, the contract of Martin and Patton was held valid, and the boy was ordered to report to their employ. Protested forfeits amounting to 26.25 on which protestors had failed to file specific protests were ordered paid. Sale of five horses by Mrs. Tennie Fizer to A. H. Pendleton was ordered approved when forfeits amounting to 5 should be paid. Names of horses: "Bride, Major Carpenter, Mildred L., Sues Sister, and Sir Paul." Reports of M. Nathanson, Official Steward of the Harlem Meeting, and Charles F. Grainger, Official Steward of the Louisville Meeting, were received and ordered filed. Physicians bills amounting to 26.29 for services to injured jockeys were approved . and ordered paid. Fine of 5 against S. Bonner assessed by the Starter at the Louisville Meeting was , remitted. Racing secretaries were directed to require all applicants for licenses hereafter to sign their full names to such applications. This includes the middle name. The meeting adjourned. Harvey T.
