He began somewhat slowly, but picked up lly after entering the last quarter and, standing a long stretch drive, finished gameness. Prince Silverwings came with a rush in the last hundred yards, : quite good enough to beat the winner. Auditor made up ground fast when t to the inside rail in the final eighth, getting up just in time to nip Fred Lep-post. The latter showed much speed and appeared the winner when a furlong id palpably in the closing strides. Don Domo was badly pocketed in the final :ould never get through. Esherin finished going fast and was wearing down Federal in , the closing strides. The Giver showed speed for five furlongs. Waswift tired fast when entering the last quarter. Bondage, Kontrary to expectations, tired very fast when he appeared to have a great chance in the fcst sixteenth.
