Eodge snowed her usual turn of speed and easily stood off General Stewards deter-d in the final eighth, winning as her rider pleased. Aggie Lewis finished going fast much the best of the others. Rainland swerved badly when a furlong out, but re-quickly and outstayed Soldier of Fortune in the closing strides. The latter tired ten the pinch came. Postmaster Wright began slowly, but made up ground :he final quarter and showed gameness in the closing strides. Airtight was beaten sixteenth out. The latter met with no mishaps and ran to her best form/ My Jane showed much speed, but tired fast when the pinch came. « Badger Girl fell away beaten when turning for home. Trompeuse finished well.
