Arrah Gowari T came Very fast in the stretch, caught Carl Kahler tiring and got up in the kf stride TooT much use was made of Carl Kahler. which caused him to tire when strong y challenged. He came with a rush in the stretch and was only cantering at the end. Silver Dream showed the most early speed, but tired when challenged by the winner. Start good. Won easily; second driving. Harding indulged Sir Gallant with the lead until on the turn for home, where Johnson called on him and he came away with a rush in the final sixteenth. Jigger had to go around the leaders in the stretch run to get up. Griffiths was going fastest of the three at the end and would have won In a few more strides. Basuto and The Boer tired as if short. Mandamus was on the outside to the stretch turn, came through on the inside and finished with a rush, but was ridden out to stall off Advocator. The latter finished very fast on the extreme outside. The Bronze Demon tired when it came to a drive. Epidemic and June Collins were used up in setting the pace and tired in the stretch run. Scratched— 40361 Model Monarch, 96. Mandamus, show, 7 to 5.
