A Lexington dispatch to the Courier Jour-fnal..ofc Thursday says: . It has leaked out that the work-out of Jphn W. Schorrs yearlings last Saturday at the Williamette Stud which was witnessed by the Memphis turfman, was sensational. Of the twenty he has retained to carry his colors in the big two-year-old events next season, all ran in very fast time. They were worked In pairs, and there was not a yearling in the collection that did not reel off an eighth better than twelve seconds, quarters under twenty-four, and no less than two sets, six colts in all, worked three furlongs in thirty-five and one-half seconds. Schorr was so elated over their performance that he said he would not take ,000 for any one of the six. The twenty head have been now virtually turned out of training. They will join the old horses at Memphis the latter part of this week, where next spring they will be fitted for their many engagements.
