Peter Paul, the star of the stable, will not be raced any more this year according to his owner. Jockey Wonderly will leave for Bennings where he intends to ride. The exodus of horsemen from Worth will begin today. The following horsemen have signified their intention of shipping to La-tonia, where they will race until the opening at New Orleans. The number of horses they will ship are as follows: S. C. Hildreth, 25; S. S. Brown, 15; Mrs. M. Goldblatt, 8; J. Mannion, S; C. Bollinger, 4; W. P. Rear-don, 3, and J. W. Fuller, 3. A complaint was lodged with the judges by J. Arthur against a former assistant to Starter Holtman, known as "Bootblack," to the effect that he had brutally assaulted and kicked an exercise boy in the employment of Arthur. Several persons who had seen the action also testified. The judges announced later that "Bootblack" had been ruled off the turf for his action. C. E. Mahone purchased yesterday at private terms from B. C. Reynolds the horses Shogun and Spec. Starter Dwyer will leave Monday night for San Francisco, Cal. Jockey Stille, who was recently injured by having his leg and foot crushed against the fence while riding Blackwolf, has recovered and will ride for J. F. Davis during the New Orloans meeting. The latter took a fancy to the two-year-old Blue Darter while racing in Canada the past summer, but was at that unsuccessful in his efforts to purchase him from A. P. Doyle, but recently Davis went to Savannah, Ga., where Doyle was racing and succeeded in buying the colt.
