GREAT STAKES TO CLOSE. In this issue of Daily Racing Form the Saratoga Association advertises the conditions of the richest stakes of the American turf. Two of these highly important events, the Great Republic and the Hopeful, will be run for the first time next year and thenceforward will rank in annual importance with such fixtures as the American Derby, the Futurity, the Annual Champion, the Realization and the greater handicaps. The institution of such great and heavily endowed races tends to the enhancement of public interest in racing and is evidence of its firm establishment and permanency in the fore of American open air diversions. All breeders, Continued on second page. GREAT STAKES TO CLOSE. Continued from first page. owners and trainers should give these stakes hearty support in the way of abundant entries. Through force of custom Saratoga is as much western racing ground as eastern, and western entries should be a marked feature in the stakos referred to, the Spin-away of 1905, and the Great Republic and Hopeful of 1006. Entries to all close November 9, and Daily Racing Form is ready to furnish entry blanks to all applicants.
