CHINN and FORSYTHE SELL HORSES. New Orleans, La., January i. The entire string of horses raced here by Chinn and Forsythe were sold by auction at a down-town sales stable today and brought exceptionally high prices. The star of the sale was Tartan, which won the Live Oak Handicap today at Crescent Park and after much spirited bidding went to John Powers for ,800. The summary: Tartan, J. Powers, ,S00; Lieber, A.
