Expedient, after trailing many lengths In the rear for half the journey, closed an enormous gap. Dixie Lad bad no chance with his. rider. Ledus went well. Bannock Belle, a slow breaker today, steadily improved his position and was coming at the end like a cyclone. Blue Eyes, outpaced early, was going well at the end.
