Won easily; second driving. Seasick ran under restraint to midway of the stretch, came with a rush in the final furlong and won going away. Rubiaua was knocked back at the start, but closed a big gap and, finishing like a flash, was probably best. Durbar ran in improved form and will bear watching from now on. Nappa, away well and skillfully ridden, quickly opened a big lead, but was tiring at the end and barely got home In front of Sylvan Dixon. The latter was off well, ran a good race and. finishing gamely under punishment, would have won with a bit farther to go. Esther B. made up ground and finished fast. Charles Clifford and Blanche 0. finished well. Hoot Mon showed early speed. Mabel Hollander got off badly, was rushed too fast to secure a jiosltion and tired. Overweights Ladys Beauty, 2 pounds. Clydeo opened a big leaM early, but was unduly hurried along and tired, but held on gamely. Dutiful ran a good seven furlongs, but tired when called on in the stretch. El Otros ran a good race and finished resolutely under punishment, but could not withstand the inconsistently raced winner. Marshal Ney made up ground and ran to his best form. The Huguenot showed the most early speed, but tired In the stretch drive. Retropaw finished fast and close up. Rubric did his best, but was overweighted.
