WOULD BE A VALUABLE ADDITION. It has been suggested to the committee of stewards of the Jockey Club, recently appointed to look after the preparation and publication of the ninth volume or the Amerlcnn Stud Book, that the exact date of foaling of thoroughbreds he-recorded. This would be a valued addition to the record. The only manner in which information as to the day and the month of foaling can now be obtained is from the private records of the breeder or from the sales catalogues.
