Scotch Dance ran as if best, worked through a rough trip and wore down the leaders in the stretch and, finishing with a rush, won well iu hand. At wood, poorly ridden, also came along with a rush at the end. Sigmund began slowly, but stood a hard drive and outgamed Electric Spark. The latter was excessively used in the early stages in racing White Marsh into subjection, both tiring badly in the final drive. Boomerack was away in a tangle and had scant chance. Budapest, away running and well handled, raced like an did timer, stood hard punishment resolutely and won drawing away. Mintberia gained steadily from a slow beginning, finished fast and outgamed King Leopold. The latter acted fraetiously at the post aiid unseated his rider, but ran consistently and outlasted Dorothy M. The latter ran In improved form and but for being in the worst going would have been second. Dry UoRar- got jiwjiytangled up. . hadscjint chance ami-was "eased up-in-the last furlong.. Ethics, after going wide for the entire trip, closed a big gap and, finishing fast, outgamed Dr. Spruill. The latter ran iu improved form and was a smart factor throughout. Dont Ask Me saved much ground on the turns, but was in the worst going all the way. Hyacinth ran poorly. Louise Macfarlan showed speed, but quit as if short. Hallowmas forced a fast pace, fought it out gamely with Monaco Maid and outstayed her iu the final drive. Monaco Maid ran a good race. Cigarlighter, probably best, was given a weak ride and taken all over the track, came with a fine sprint through the stretch and was going fast at the end. R. F. Muffins ran in the good going all the way aud stayed better than usual. Dr. Coffey tired In the final drive after having raced forwardly for a half. T. B. Zero ran a fairly good race. Marvin Neal came with a belated rush, but was poorly handled, swerved badly and should have won. Tristan Shandy quit badly after going three-quarters. Beechwood ran in improved form.
