Judge Treen liegan slowly, but closed up with a rusli on the far turn, came through on the inside and, finishing fast, won going away. French Empress ran a good race and outgamed Black Flag when it came to the final drive. The latter broke well in motion and showed great speed for three furlongs, then tired. Money was a trifle lame when going to the post, has developed a bad knee, ran lielow his true form and was unfit to start. The others were outclassed. Thistle Do got away, in his stride and raced John Garner and Marlin into defeat in the .first six furlongs, had something in reserve when Morendo challenged in the stretch and outstayed him all through the last sixteenth. Morendo was crowded back on the turn out of the backstretch and came again fast and gamely when he got clear in the homestretch. Del Carina made up ground and finished fast. Marlin sulked in the last eighth when his rider drew his whip. John Garner was probably short and tired In the last quarter after tunning well to the stretch. Eclectic finished with a rush. Amberlta, outrun in the early stages, finished with a rush and just managed to get up In time to beat out The Gleam. The latter ran well, but lost ground by making a wide turn into the homestretch. Justice showed speed for three furlongs and then quit. Belden showed early speed, but failed to stay. Gravina went fairly well only. Percy Clark showed the most speed for the first three furlongs and hung on gamely, but tired under punishment. Evpx broke well and did his best, but was always outrun. Skyward was Interfered with when the start came and crowded back, but closed a big gap and finished fast and gaining. Hand-mash showed speed, but quit. Magistrate ran fairly well.
