SLAUGHTER OF LAYERS AT KENILWORTH. Good Things in Order and the Bankrolls Dwindle Schreiber Wins Heavily Over Earl Rogers. Buffalo,- N. Y., June 18. All the winners at Kenilworth this afternoon came in for strong support and the layers received a drubbing that thev will remember for some days to come. Long prices were laid against several of them In the opening betting, but post time saw a steady cut in the odds about tbem all. The victories of Plaud, backed from S to 4; Miss Rillie, from 0 to 4, and Workmald, from 7 to a to 1, forced the cashiers to unloosen the wrappers on their bankrolls to settle their obligations after the races. Barney Schreiber and his followers did not allow Earl Rogers, winner of the first race, to run loose. Despite the heavy snpport to Cadichon and Secret, the odds on Earl Rogers were cut from 12 to 10 to 1 and the victory ftt the Schreiber horse meant that the owner and followers of the stable had landed a good thing. Even Cutters victory at the short odds of 2 to 5 meant additional losses for the ring. With onlv Anna Smith and Saladin opposed to her, Cutter looked like a 1 to 10 shot and the little to 20 that .wax laid, was eagerly snapped up. Cutter won her race in a canter, after racing along with Anna Smith for a half mile.
