Hannibal Bey was well rated, waitd on the pacemakers to the bead of the stretch, took advantage of Prosperos wide turn and slipped through on the inside and won with liiiich in reserve. OsEiueke bad a lot of early speed, but died away in the stretch. Prospcro ran forwardly all the way. Gallitbea had a rough journey and met witli interference in the stretch. Grace Kimball closed a gap into an easy third. Plaud, while at the post, unseated his rider and ran a quarter, then began slowly and, after trailing far back, came on fast when too late. Alencon ran a gxd race and bad no mishaps. The Belle was cut off on the stretch turn, then went to the outside and liuished fast. Tickle ran well to the btreteh and tired. Humorist nisi poorly. Satchel ran In reserve close behind the leaders until in the last eighth, then moved up fast and outstayed F. E. Shaw. The latter, a good horse and well meant today, finished with a rush and can beat much better horses than lie met in this race. Aimeta Lady showed a great flight of speed for a half and tired in the stretch drive. Many Thanks was speedy, but failed to stay. Richard Jr. ran well. Anne Davis tired. Delniore also recovered his .speed suddenly, ran u good racp and, better ridden at the end, would have won. Nonsense ran well throughout, Clara Dee showed Improvement. Perry McAdow showed speed, but failed to stay. Andrew Mack was making up ground at the finish. Lazell ran a bad race. Scratched 02028 Fair Light. 102.
