Moonvine, always In keen contention, tired in the closing strides end just lasted loug enough .to save second place from Salvisa. The latter began slowly and finished fast when too late. Parkvllle was pinched off at the start and was eased up all the way. Monte Carlo ran away three miles while geing to the post. At the weights Garrett Wilson ran a good race. J. W.
