GROVER HUGHES- BUYS DON CAESAR. Lexington, Ky., September 2S. W. S. Payne, Maplewood Stud, lias sold to G rover Hughes two richly bred yearling fillies, one a bay by Ed Corrl-gaus noted English racehorse Scintillant II. and the other a browli by Ingoldsby. Hughes has also bought of T. Ov .McDowell, the four-year-old chestnut colt Don Caesar, by Algol Countess Irma, by Sir Dixon. Don Caesar is still a maiden, but McDowell once thought ho was a 0,000 horse.
