Frank Lord was outpaced In the early running by Common Sue, but dashed into the lead on the Inside on the last turn arid, coming on fast, won comfortably. Klllaloe broke slowly on the inside and appeared to he outpaced for the first half, but closed up with a rush in the stretch and ran a good race. Halifax, away badly, ran Into the other horses and nearly fell at the start, then closed an Immense gap on the outside and seemingly got up for second place and was much the best. Common Sue, very fast and Improving, beat the barrier and set a tremeidous pace, tiring right at the end of a game effort. Voorhees was outrun all the way, but shows steady improvement and Is due soon. Knight of Rhodes was not fit, but looks good and held on moderately well. Blondy, from a flying start, was displaced at the half by El Dorado, but came on and overhauled the latter in the stretch and won going away. El Dorado, from a lucky start, vas whipped Into the lead next to the rail and made the running to the stretch, where he succumbed to the winner, but earned second place in a game struggle. Royal Breeze, away very badly, worked through a rough journey, closed a big sap and was going like a cyclone at the end. Vatiuero, shuffled to the rear early, made up a lot of ground in the last half. Tlleing was close up at the end. Klllochan, away very badly, closed a big gap and was forced to run on the outside throughout. Master Lester, nearly left, made up fifteen lengths on the leaders. Ace High was forced ont of position at the half and never dangerous afterwards. Belcast showed superior speed early, hut tired. Red Friar was skillfully reserved for a mile, then moved up on the last turn and, taking the lead in the stretch, won going away. Lancastrian was in forward pursuit of the pacemaker from the start and, after running well in hand, went to the front on the last turn and appeared all over the winner, nut tired suddenly in the closing drive. Angler was injudiciously forced to make the running for a mile and a quarter and dropped to the rear suddenly in the stretch. Jungle Imp, shut on at the start, trailed far in the rear for half the journey and moved up fast on the backstretch and landed a good fourth. Chimney Sweep closed a big gap in the last half. Belle of Jessamine ran well for a mile and then tired and can do much better. Tipping, always in a good position and reserved in the early running, closed up rapidly in the last half and challenged gamely in the stretch, Just getting home after swerving badly and impeding every horse within reach. Wes got away slowly, but rushed up to the leader on the backstretch and, passing him at the half, appeared to be going so easily aS to seem the winner, hut swerved all over the stretch and was badly messed about. Rye forced the early pace, but relinquished the lead on the backstretch and was quickly surrounded, worked through a rough journey to the stretch, where he came through on the inside and but for repeated interference by the winner would have won. Belle of Pequest, badly messed about and shuttled back on the far turn, came again with a belated rush at the end. Stoic ran a good race and came fast from the rear. James Reddick, away slowly and carried wide, never got Into serious contention, but made up considerable ground in the last half. Cary finished close up and probably liked the enppy going. J. F. Adelinette ran forwardly and gamely throughout. Miss Spooner showed early speed, but failed to stay. Windfall was carried to the outside on the last turn. Allofavor was jweketed and buffeted about all the way. Crimson Clover had no chance at the start and was always pocketed. Princess Nettie also had no chance at the start. .
