Theyre Off, a superlative mudlark, jumped off in front and spreadeagled his opponents, never being seriously menaced. Montgomery, on the inside in deep going and away slowly, lost much ground early, but closed a big gap in the last half and was going like a cyclone at the end. Botanist, from a good start, ran forwardly and well all the way, but was not quite good enough. Grace George showed superior early speed, but failed to stay. Arlmo was pulling up at the start and got away badly, but closed a big gap quickly, looming up on the last turn and tiring at the end. Jim Leonard and Marcellne were as good as left. Albert F., from a striding start, ran in close pursuit of the pacemaker to the stretch, where he drew out to win away off and was much the best Cloisteress forced a stiff pace and stuck it out well after being headed in the stretch and ran a game race. Homelander closed up with a great rush in the last quarter, is improving and a good looker. Sadler went well and finished close up. Chandos tired after being prominent for a half. Supreme is vcy moderate. Locked Out got away badly and can do much better. Scratched 651133Deuce, 110; C5202 Young Davis, 107; G2170 Carmagnole, 110; Fintrail, 107. Cressina decisively outbroke the others, but was waited with after going the first furlong to the last turn, where she forged into a long lead and won rs her rider pleased. Stamping Ground ran in close pursuit throughout, finished with fast and game closing sprint and Is very good. Palette got away poorly, trailed to the half, closing up a lot of ground at tlw end. Royal Lady tired badly after a fast furlong of strenuous and close pursuit of the leader. Vaqnero got away badly and trailed to the stretchy where he gained a little ground. Bragg outbroke the others, overhauled the leaders on the backstretch, drew away as the race progressed and won with plenty left. Niblick set the early pace, but was shniiied back at the half and closed up again into a game second. Delmore was skillfully nursed in prominent contention throughout and. enmed an easy third. Merlingo, badly messed about and nearly Jeft, closed up considerable ground, but was frequently getting into pockets and is very moderate. Red Light got away poorly, closed a big gap in the middle running and tired in the closing drive. Euripides forced the pace for a half and quit badly. New Mown Hay disliked the going evidently. Molesey, away badly on the outside and interfered with and pocketed early, closed an Immense gap In the deepest going and won going away. Jennie Wells was hemmed in on the far turn and closed up fast when with clear sailing on the stretch turn, but went very wide and finally succumbed to the winners challenge.. Hancock got away slowly and was in close quarters, but worked through fast on the last turn and finished .1 fast going third. CItrona linbJied a good fourth and going well. Fire Opal led by a wide gap to the stretch, where she tired badly. Red Garter showed superior early speed, but ran palpably short and looked it. Arlington tired after showing early speed, can do better and is reported to have shown fast work. Bromina Is a good looker. Waterspeed is possibly a coming good oue and wortlrremem-bering.
