BENNETTS HOME BURNED. Memphis, Tenn., November 15. Fire, at RIdgeway, the home of George C. Bennett, destroyed the engine house and its contents, entailing a loss of about ,000. The origin of the blaze is unknown, but it attained such headway before discovered that the lire fighting apparatus of the Bennett place was insufficient to check it. The engine house supplied both residence and the extensive racing stables with water. Mr. Bennett has given orders for immediate rebuilding. Insurance of ,750 was carried on the building and contents.
