Baringo is a good mud runner, ran under restraint in a good position to the turn for home, where she readily went to the front when called on and at the end was well in hand. Yorkist showed speed and forced the pace, but was much used in racing Workmaid into defeat and tired in the last sixteenth. Tudor was outrun early, but came fast in the stretch and might have been closer up at the end had Ms rider desired. Workmaid showed early speed, but failed to stay. Valley Forge is a fast horse between jumps and fenced fairly well, revelled in the going and was well In hand at the end. Frank. Somers ran a good race, made up ground and fenced well all the way. Harry Baylor was in active contention nearly all the way, but tired at the end. Bery Waddell ran a bad race that should be thrown out. Wild Range also put up a bad performance and can do better. Lord Boanerges was in a good position under mild reserve to the stretch, then went to the front with :t rush and won as his rider pleased. Landsman Was flatfooted at the start and was rushed to the front too quickly on the outside, showed speed and ran well, but tired when caught in the stretch. Botanist had no mishaps and ran far below his true form. Umbrella ran fairly well and can do much better in such going. The others were always outrun. Cambyses ran a good race and finished gamely through the stretch under a drive. Eminola closed a gap and hung on well at the end. Black Flag showed a good turn of speed, but tired from racing with the winner. Haudniaiden was only close up at the end because the others were pulling up. Old Colony ran well to the stretch. Grand Duchess ran In a forward position all the way and easily held Delphie safe for second place. Dclphie showed early speed, but fell back on the turn, then came again and was driving hard at the end to beat New York. The latter made up "ground and finished gamely. Niblick showed speed, but was much used in making the pace and tired badly in the stretch drive. Toscan showed speed, but failed to stay. Pleasant Days closed a big gap.
