Dry Dollar, showing suddenly improved form and well handled, closed a big gap in the first quarter and. taking the lead in the stretch, won well in hand with plenty in reserve. Bonart, pocketed early and forced to be taken wide nearly throughout, ran well and finished going gamely. Anna Rusk in, shuffled back soon after the start, closed a tremendous gap and was probably best. Black Burn ran a good race and forced the pace for the first half before tiring. Nedra and Idalia raced each other into exhaustion in the first half and both tired in the last quarter. Cannon Ball broke fully in motion and, escaping Interference, set a fast pace all the way, tired slightly near the end, but won with something to spare. Invasion was in a forward position from the start and, despite weak handling, finished going gamely. Airship, taken wide most of the trip, closed up ground and finished fast. Matador had no mishaps. Quinn Brady showed superior early speed and took a long lead soon after the start, then tired fast after going three-quarters, but outstayed Odd Ella at the end. The latter ran fairly well and had no mishaps. Lena J. trailed the others far back 1n the early stages and closed a big gap in the last quarter. Scratched G54532Hallowmas, 10G. Juggler, away forwardly, suffered interference in the early stages and had to go wide into the stretch, but finished fast and gamely wore down Toboggan with ease and was restrained through the last , sixteenth. Toboggan set the pace fast in the early stages and took a clear lead on the stretch turn, but tired when hard driven. Auditor came fast at the end and finished wearing the leaders down. Alencon, running to his best form, dashed into a long lead from the start and won all the way, but had to Ie hard ridden at the end to outlast Martins. The latter came with a belated rush through the stretch and was probably best. Cutter tired after close pursuit of the winner in the earlv stages aiul would have-been beaten for third place in a few more strides. J. W. ONeill came away fast through the stretch.. Stoic followed the winner closely and stood a hard drive through the stretch gamely, but was not good enough to beat the winner today. Merry Belle did her lest, had no, mishaps and is possibly staling. Henpecked ran a good race. Mr. Scott ran well and was in close quarters most of the way. Conde tired after going three-quarters. Globe Runner was given a bad ride and can do much better. Overweights Stole, 1 pound; Redcoat, 5, ,
