Snyder bought Monlbert for 88 al the sale of the Adelbert stud yearlings last July. Work a Day is the first foal of a lirst foal, for Work, her dam. was the first foal dropped by i. torious. Work a Day was bred by OcOTge H. Whitney in the Melrose slud and was sold to Jules liaison for »0 at the Slieepshoad Bay yearling sales last July. Nettie Miller is another filly. She was Knocked down for hat sum to 1!. A. Fvers in tho paddock at Douglas Park in Scptemlier. She was bred in the Fleetwood stud and is a full sister to Girard. Her dam. Lula HcLaaa, is a full sister to l-ollic Eastin. which won he Melbourne Stakes at Lexington and ran Handspun to a dead heat for the PeafW Stakes. Deceraaar, Violet IL. Libertyville, Husky and Raconteur are all from Ramho del Paso and were sold as yearlings at Slieepshoad Bay last June. Decorator is the firs foal of Mariole. E. Wayland got him for 25. Violet II. is a full sister to Ohm-dare. S. S. Bender got her for iN» and afterward sold her to M. Roasleig. I.ilx-rtyville is a full brother to Coniilfo. He was knocked down to .1. O. Keene for 0O and later paaeed to Green B. Morris. Husky is a half brother to Oliver. S. C. Hildrelh got him for 88 and after he shipped to California in Noaeeahct sold the colt to Garnet Ferguson. J. 0. Keene paid $: 50 for Raconteur. Suspicion, the dam of this colt, is a half sister to Golden Days. Pink Rose, the dam of Magazine, is a full sister to McMeekin and a half sister to Ihhack. Magazine was bred in the Qal aoeil Stud and J. J. Walsh paid for him last September. He got Martha Jane out of the same consignment for $: ih , Amelia Strathinore. the dam of Martha Jane, was a, good racer and her dam, old Amelia P., produce. l nine other winners — James Roddick, Captain Bob, Safety Light. Kmshee, Partridge, Amelia Fonso. Lillian Reed. Bronston and Potentate. Grace W. comes from the family of Lida Stanhope and Princess Bowling. She only brought as a yearling. Marianna and Maid of Orleans are both by Orsini, and were bred at Menlo farm in California. They were both knocked down to W. B. Chapman at the sale in September, the former for 50 and the latter for 2o. Thev were later transferred to J. R. Pyne.
