Trainer Randall intends to start him in the Pasadena Handicap at one and owe-eighth miles, which is to lie run at Los Aagelea next Saturday. This event is just one week before the running of the Burns Handicap at Oakland. Ihe trainer of Borghesi thinks he will be better able to "prep" the sou of Brutus at Ascot and that the race down south will help him for the Burns Handicap. Randall says that Borghesi is getting along iu first-class style, but that it is hard to keep him on edge owing to prevailing track conditions. 1
