Jerry C. was a prominent contender all the way and. finishing fast, wore down Rustling Silk with ease in the stretch run and won with plenty in reserve. Rustling Silk was speedy, but was much used in the early stages to wear down the leaders and tired in the last furlong. Cold Duke came with a rush in the-last quarter and tinished gamely. Roseboro showed speed, but tired after going a good half. Gamester, •iway slowly and trailing far back in the early stages, had to go wide on the stretch turn and doasd a big gap in the last quarter. Doubt finished well. Arby Van quit after going a half. The winner was entered for 8866; no bid. Scratched— M -794 Lady Goodrich, 102; C5338 Sam Rice. 94.
