Lawless drew up OB the Inside OB the far turn :uid came through next to the rail when the leader- spread out and took command in the stretch, but had to be ridden hard all of the last furlong to retain the lead. Count Reinferd ran well and was in the middle of the track for the entire trip and was interfered with slightly by the winner, which repeatedly swelled across in front of him. Jimmy IL. a good breaker. Bhowed speed, but tired in the stretch run and was probably a bit shart. Black Hawk finished fast. Antoine evidently did not fancy the going.
