C. to in spect his string of racers which are being prepared for the l.to7 campaign by John W. Rogers. McGee makes a grand looking stallion. He was recently put on the scales at Edward Corrigans farm in Kentucky and tipped the beam at 1,230 pounds. Dairy Maid, Which has Im-i-ii entered for the Benning Spring Handicap, belongs to J. West, the trainer who won the race last year for Davitl Duuiop with tin- rejuvenated Duke of Kendal Down Memphis way they say that along about the first of May a new turf governing both will be formed in the west: that the American turf As-,, elation and the Western Jockey Club will pass out and that practically every tra.-k in the territory covered by these two organisations will lie controlled by a combine.
