Allegory, Zephyrus and Tatruni were all bred by Milton Young at McCrathiana Stud in Kentucky and were sold by auction at Sliocpsliead Bay iu September last. Ruddigorc is a February foal and is a half brother to the good tilly Mollie Donohue. which is the first foal of Firs! Land, a daughter of Pioneer, a- son of Galopiu. First Land was never raced and was brought to this country from England in VMY1. Tatruni is an April foal. Her dun, Tasmania, is ■ daughter of Hanover and a full sister to Hand vb-e ami likewise a sister to Design, the dam of Two Bills. Bobbin" Around is another February foal. Whirl wind, his dam. is a half sister to Baiuiro IF. the winner of twenty races in live seasons, a good sprinter. Allegory is an April foal. He is a half-brother to the good mare Sweetie. Allcgra. his dam. is a full sister to Partridge, the dam of Canteen and The Quail, and likewise to Nahuia. the dam of Adlxll and Belincre. Zephyrus is a May foal. He is a half brother to Early. Miss Hanover and Simon D. Miss Dawn, his dam. is a sister to Cash Day, winner of twenty nine races. Smilinda is an April foal. Touiinie Bell, her dam. is the dam of nine winners— W. C. Harding, Nellie Agnes. Jim Blackburn. Nigger Baby, Buena Ventura. Eloiin. Hans Wagner, Wrenne and Sir Francis II. Pater Star was bred by Colonel E. F. Clay at Runnyiiiede Stud and is an April foal. He was sold to Jake Marklein as ■ yearling for Jv.pO and peaaed from him to Mr. Ziegler. His dam is a young mare by Sir Dixon, oat of Uena Orr. Wise Child was bred by J. B. Haggin at Elmeu-dorf Stud and was sold privately to Mr. Ziegler.
