; CARTER HANDICAP WEIGHTS. The dale for running the Carter Handicap is now but two days more than three weeks in the future. The year previous he rau second to Ormondes Bight in 1:26ft. This year he has been given !::.". pounds by Mr. Vosburgh and has been leniently treated. Weight seems to affect his enormous ■peed so lightly that 110 pounds would hare been fully justified. If he comes to the post in condition to ruu to his best form it is difficult | to form any Other conclusion than that he will probably win again. If, however, lie is not at his beat, there will l e a different story to tell. Juggler. ! for instance, is in superb form just now, hard aud lit also. His seven-eighths in 1:2a* Thursday with 117 pounds nit suggests that he will be hard to beat in the Carter with 110 to carry.
