ASSIGNEE FOR THE SALEM TRACK. Banter, V H . April IS. — Nathaniel W. Hobbs, of Concord, was today named as assignee of the New Kngland Hrecdcrs Club, the owners of Ro«-kiug-ham Park raring plant at Salem. The proceeding is part of a plan to wind up the affairs of the club, which at great expense fitted up the track. The opposition by the people of New Hampshire to pari selling put a stop to racing after the opening meeting last year and the venture proved a failure. It is understood that the property will be sold by Hie assignee. Among Hie heaviest creditors are John A. Drake and John W. Howells. of New York, each haling claims for 874,666 ST money loaned.
