Stargowan took the lead quickly, bat relinquished it to Thertnidor. then challenged resolutely in the titiai 1 in long and won out in a rousing finish, in which Radlke clearly outrode Miller. The winner ran a fast game race and only aweeaaahed in the last two all Ides. Dennis Stafford closed n big gap and, finishing fast, ran a good race. C. W. Bart showed a good turn of speed but tired in the final drive. Tommy Ahearn and Ranridge ran fairly well and the latter will probably show decided improvement. Glorious Betsy tan a goad race ami loiished gamely. Snakew 1 made up ground and was going fast at the finish. Whip Top also tinisheit well. Ampedo got off slowly and trailed for live far-longs, th.-n oil up with a rush and was a fast going second. Juggler was also oft slowly and much used in getting up to a contending position and tired, failing to run to his best form. IfaaaafeUn showed superior early speed and tired in the stretch drive, but ran a good race and is ready to win. Orphan I.ail finished gamely ami close up.
